~personality: Bobby is a somewhat complicated boy. Twelve years old, he's been taught ever since he was old enough to walk how to torture and kill living things. He's a pure sadist, finding joy in others' pain...others than his twin brother and his mother, that is. However, his brother is currently unaccounted for and his mother has been dead for years.

He's very smart, and his innocent appearance make people tend to trust him. He often abuses this, using a person to satisfy whatever need he has at the time before eventually kills them.

When he does kill, he wears a gruesome mask and a heavy cloak to protect his identity. His usual method is to cut his victims to ribbons using a huge, custom-made pair of hedge clippers, earning him the nickname of "Scissorman". However, he does sometimes get creative with his methods; whether just for fun or to cover his tracks, it's hard to tell.

To elaborate, however, is a bit of a longer story.

The Barrows family is a cursed bloodline. Every boy born into the family is destined to become a murderer, and always in the same manner: killing their victims by taunting them in a vicious game of cat and mouse, only to tear them to ribbons with an oversized pair of hedge clippers. They have come to be known as the "Scissormen".

This is a bit of popular folklore in the town of Ramsdaaren, Norway; one that children like to tell around campfires to scare their friends. The old Barrows mansion stands as a testament to the story, its clock tower long since dead.

However, one Barrows still lived in that mansion. His name was Simon, and he was the only son of the thirteenth generation of Barrows males. You see, the bit that was usually left out of the story was that each thirteenth generation would escape the curse, and be a completely normal man.

Unfortunately, because of his gruesome family history and people's understandable avoidance of him due to that, Simon was a lonely man. However, he eventually met a woman by the name of Mary, an exceptionally kind and loving woman, who saw past his family name.

At least, that's what she had him believe.

The truth is that Mary had been researching the Barrows family for some time, a bizarre interest-turned-obsession. Coaxing Simon into loving her (with the all-important lie that she was sterile, therefore couldn't bear his children), she became pregnant rather quickly, and locked her husband up in a tiny shed in the mansion's courtyard.

She bore twin children--the term "children" being used loosely here. The one she named Bobby bit off the hand of the doctor that had come to assist with their birth. Children in hand, Mary left the doctor in shock in that room, and sealed it completely, dooming him to a slow death by suffocation.

Both boys, named Bobby and Dan, grew up in wildly different ways. Bobby remained the most "normal" of the two of them - which is to say that despite being the more murderous of the two, he retained the appearance of a completely normal boy. His brother, however, was severely deformed. Bobby, for some reason, would go nearly insane when he heard the bells of the mansion's clock tower, so Mary had them shut off.

Their mother loved them both dearly, and nurtured their murderous tendencies. She went so far as to get a job as a liaison for the Granite Orphanage, where she would select a few children every so often to bring home to her sons as playthings. Bobby assumed the role of the Scissorman, while Dan grew more and more deformed through demonic rites that Mary performed on him. It's insinuated that Dan consumed Bobby's victims as nourishment.

When Bobby and Dan were nine years old, Mary brought a group of four girls from the Granite Orphanage; Jennifer Simpson, and her friends Ann, Laura, and Lotte. Things went as usual - Bobby hunted the girls, killing Laura and Ann almost straight away. Unfortunately for him, however, Jennifer was turning out to be more resourceful than they had planned.

Jennifer ended up indirectly killing Dan by knocking a can of kerosene over, which then caught a torch and consumed him. She ran to the top of the clock tower, where Bobby and Mary were waiting for her. Bobby was completely intent on killing her, but Jennifer threw the switches on the gear box, and the bells of the clock tower came to life, sending Bobby into an insane fit. Holding his head and screaming, he lost his footing and fell from the railing, narrowly avoiding the huge gears and managing to escape with a broken leg. Mary was not so lucky - pushed from the railing as well, she was crushed by the gears.

Bobby fled, being smart enough to not stay in Ramsdaaren for long. Ironically, he even spent some time in the Granite Orphanage, under the alias surname of Harris.

His broken leg never quite mended correctly, so he walks with a slight limp. He quickly learned that he could exploit this and garner sympathy from people, especially considering his otherwise innocent appearance. He became adept at acting the part of the lonely and helpless little boy, taking from people what he needed before killing them and moving on. Of course, there was no reason for him to kill them; he did simply because he enjoyed it. He was, however, always careful enough to not leave enough evidence behind to ever be caught.

Three years passed this way, before he was brought before the Gods of Purgatorium for judgement.
